Problem Excessive Slippage on XAUUSD – Ticket #168438193 – LiteFinance

I am writing to report an issue with LiteFinance regarding an excessive slippage that occurred on my account.

Trade Details:
- Ticket Number: #168438193
- Instrument: XAUUSD
- Trade Type: Sell
- Open Price: 4034.23
- Stop Loss (as set in the platform): 4037.13 (Corrected)
- Take Profit: 4022.05
- Actual Close Price (due to a sudden spike): 4087.99
- Resulting Loss: -53.76 USD
- Slippage from Stop Loss: 50.86 dollars (from 4037.13 to 4087.99)

Date and Time:
July 14, 2026, at approximately 15:58–16:02 (Server Time)

What happened:
A sudden and extreme price spike (from around 4030 to 4095) occurred on XAUUSD within seconds. Despite having a clear Stop Loss at 4037.13, my trade was closed at 4087.99, causing a much larger loss than anticipated. I contacted LiteFinance support, and they responded that this was due to a "news event." However, no major economic news was released at that specific time.

I have attached screenshots of the trade history, the price spike, and their email response for your reference.

I would appreciate any advice from the community or guidance on how to proceed with this matter.

I am updating this thread with new evidence I have received from LiteFinance.

I have attached the official Daily Confirmation statement that LiteFinance sent to me. In this document, my Stop Loss for Ticket #168438193 is clearly recorded as [sl 4037.13] next to the trade entry.

Despite this clear record, my trade was closed at 4087.99, resulting in a slippage of 50.86 dollars (from 4037.13 to 4087.99) on a 0.01 lot position.

I would appreciate it if the community could review the attached documents and share their opinions on whether this level of slippage is normal, especially given that the Stop Loss was officially recorded in their system.

Also, as a side note, Trustpilot has recently flagged LiteFinance for fake reviews and has suspended their overall rating. This might be relevant context for others who are considering this broker.

There was a CPI release while you had this trade open. I can see a huge candle on another major broker’s 15-minute data. Check other brokers to see whether they also show such a large move.

Also, remember that no broker can guarantee a stop-loss execution at the exact stop price during major news events such as the U.S. CPI release.
