Economic university of Azerbaijan and Russian holding company MFX Group to initiate collaboration

Russian holding company MFX Group and Azerbaijan State Economic University (ASEU) achieved agreement to collaborate.
Within the frame of meeting that took place on Friday in the building of ASEU delegation of the university headed by the president Shamseddin Gadjiev and delegation of the holding headed by the president Igor Volkov discussed the potential of cooperation.
In particular, the holding made proposal regarding joint book and education materials publishing, as well as translation of existing Russian language publications to Azerbaijan language.
“Collaboration will implicate the holding to provide educational materials to the university to be edited and adapted to Azerbaijan realias” – said Evgeniy Jidkov, the holding’s head of CIS region. According to Jidkov these will be guidebook concerning stock and forex market.
In turn, president of the university welcomed the proposal regarding joint educational materials publishing.
“This proposal is good. I welcome it and, as the saying runs, I give it a green light. We are glad to cooperate with you” – S. Gadjiev said.
The president is willing to collaborate not only in the field of guidebooks publishing, but in the field of the stock-market related education as well.
“Stock market is not highly developed in Azerbaijan. On the one hand, it’s good for we are more stable internationally. Russia has always been a high-priority partner to cooperate with for us. On that basis I would say we are always glad to communicate and cooperate with you” – he said.
“We have students learning Russian language, and there are quite a lot of them. Thus, there are fields we can collaborate in. We can organize forums, round tables. conferences and many more” – the university’s president added.
Meanwhile, president of MFX GROUP Igor Volkov told reporter of Interfax-Azerbaijan that the goals of his visit are achieved.
“The fact that the university’s president gave this collaboration a “green light” speaks volumes. The only thing left to sort out is formal execution of documents. Today I will contact my staff members are give orders to prepare all materials required to start the works” – I. Volkov said.
According to him the second goal of the visit is to share experience with Azerbaijan professionals.
“This aspect is highly important for this market is just in the making, and it’s quite interesting” – I.Volkov said.
MFX GROUP holding company has opened representative office in Azerbaidjan (MFX GROUP-Azerbaijan) on September,5. Presentation took place in press-center of the Interfax-Azerbaijan agency.
The main goal of the company is to provide all conditions required for a client’s trading activity. Initially the holding plans to hold seminars for the trading-world beginners. Moreover, the office plans to provide accounts for traders free of charge.
