Dear FPA Community,
I am writing to report an unresolved issue with MetaGold broker (Regulated by MISA – Comoros). On June 23, 2026, I initiated a deposit of 246.49 USDT (Tether ERC-20 equivalent on Polygon network) to the wallet address explicitly provided by MetaGold's deposit system.
Blockchain Confirmation:
- Network: Polygon (POL)
- TXID: 0xda51bf7fbc505b2940bd3326a85852f595f61f0282f31cbfc263e2224cdf7ac0
- Confirmations: 1600+ (Status: Success)
- Gas Fee: paid and confirmed
- Destination Address: 0x15016471745AEbE9Ab4C917f16d49B948FfeC3FF (provided by MetaGold)
Action Taken by Broker:
Despite the on-chain confirmation, MetaGold has marked this deposit as "Blocked" in their internal system. The status screenshot they sent shows:
- Status: Blocked
- AML Risk: 100% (internal flag)
- Wallet Type: USDT-POL
Support Tickets & Documents Submitted:
1. Full AML/KYC form (completed)
2. Passport copy (international ID)
3. 1-month bank statement (translated into English)
4. Blockchain transaction screenshot
5. Withdrawal confirmation from source exchange (Nobitex – Iranian exchange)
Communication Breakdown:
After multiple follow-ups, MetaGold support has only provided generic responses such as:
- "Under review by the finance department"
- "Blocked due to AML network"
- "We are checking with the technical team"
However, they have failed to provide any valid reason for holding the funds, especially considering the deposit address was provided by them and the transaction is fully confirmed on a public blockchain.
Regulatory Context:
MetaGold is not regulated by any major authority. It holds a license from MISA (Mwali International Services Authority, Comoros), which is widely considered a weak offshore regulator. The broker has also been flagged by MAS (Singapore) and CNMV (Spain).
Previous Complaints Filed:
- WikiFX (Case ID: FX4285242764)
- IranBroker (Ticket #2984)
- Public warning posted in Telegram groups and Instagram comments
Request:
I request FPA to review this case and assist in mediating the release of my funds. Additionally, I urge all traders to be cautious when dealing with brokers that rely on offshore regulators and lack transparent dispute resolution processes.
All screenshots, TXID, and communication logs are available upon request.
Thank you for your time and support.
