The US stock market

Hello Everyone

All three "Markets" continue to fall, as fears about the Ebola virus weigh heavily on the airline & hotel sectors.

Most investors seem to have a short time worry over major thinks like wars and disasters and tend to revert back very quickly to every day life of the economy, and for that reason I think the Unemployment Claims 1.30pm (BST) showing 1k better off in the "Forecast" might get the upward rally going again if a better-then-expected result (Green) is in the "Actual"

Close of trading:

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: 16141.74 -173.45 (-1.06%)

Nasdaq Composite Index: 4215.32 -11.85 (-0.28%)

The S&P 500 Index: 1862.49 -15.21 (-0.81%)

Gold continues to claim, as it nears the halfway mark of last months downfall (from 1287.51 to 1207.92) after closing yesterday at 1241.76.

Current price: 1242.43

Hello Everyone

Yesterday saw all three "Markets" end in the "Red" as mixed data results from the two CPI's combined with falling oil prices, and the tragic events in canada send investors into a spin.

Hello Everyone

Yesterday saw the three "Markets" bounce back up again on the back of good earning.

If today's New Home Sales 3pm (BST) "Forecast" is correct we might see a dip in the "Markets" before end of trading.

Nasdaq Composite Index: 4452.79 +69.95 (+1.60%)

Hello Everyone

All three "Markets" ended up in the "Green" at Friday's closing "Bell", with new record highs for both the Dow (17395.54) and the S&P 500 (2019.26).

Today's Final Manufacturing PMI 2.45pm, ISM Manufacturing PMI and ISM Manufacturing Prices both at 3pm (all GMT) could slow the feel-good factor a bit if "Forecasts" are correct.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: 17390.52 +195.10 (+1.13%)

Nasdaq Composite Index: 4630.74 +64.60 (+1.41%)

Friday saw "Gold" manage to make it two "Red" months in-a-row, closing the day at 1170.87, it's lowest month since July 2010

Current price: 1168.46
