Yesterday saw the US markets slide, as a deceleration in China's exports left traders a bit anxious about the health of the global economy.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: Closed at 16418.68 -34.04 (-0.21%) on the day.

The S&P 500 Index: Closed at 1877.17 -0.87 (-0.05%) on the day.

Nasdaq Composite Index: Closed at 4334.45 -1.77 (-0.04%) on the day.

Gold remained flat "Open" 1338.82 "Close" 1339.42.

All three markets show in the "Green" on the futures market with just over 1 hour remaining to the"Open Bell" with the actual value of the index (Fair value) as follows.

Dow (+11.00) FV (+14.32)
S&P500 (+1.25) FV (+2.18)
NASDAQ (+6.30) FV (+7.86)

Gold also shows higher at 1347.59

Yesterday saw the US markets slide for the second day running this week, as traders continue to kept a wary eye on tensions in Ukraine, the pace of growth in China and the economic growth in the US.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: Closed at 16351.25 -67.43 (-0.41%) on the day.

The S&P 500 Index: Closed at 1867.63 -9.54 (-0.51%) on the day.

Nasdaq Composite Index: Closed at 4307.19 -27.26 (-0.63%) on the day.

Today "Gold" rose to its highest level (1363.15) since 28/Oct/2013 (1361.69) as all the doubts over the economic growth, Ukraine and China appeal more & more as a safe-haven. Current: 1335.05

It was a mixed day on yesterdays "markets" with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq, coming off a poor start of the week to finish the day in the "Green" and setting up another chance for the S&P 500 to set a new 52-Week high (1,883.57) while the Dow continued its 3rd "Red" day week.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: Closed at 16,340.08 -11.17 (-0.07%) on the day.

The S&P 500 Index: Closed at 1,868.20 +0.57 (+0.03%) on the day.

Nasdaq Composite Index: Closed at 4,323.33 +16.14 (+0.37%) on the day.

Gold took a large leap towards its 6 (Green) weeks & 3 (Green) months targets and now stands at a 1373.04 passing its 19/Sept/2013 (1370.95) last highest level, next stop could be 1425.00

The Dow completed its 4th "Red" day week, as both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq finished the day also in the "Red" as once again the China economy and tensions in the Ukraine eclipsed good reports out of the US about their own economy.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: Closed at 16108.89 -231.19 (-1.41%) on the day.

The S&P 500 Index: Closed at 1846.34 -21.86 (-1.17%) on the day.

Nasdaq Composite Index: Closed at 4260.42 -62.91 (-1.46%) on the day.

Gold still remains on course for its 6th straight weekly "Bull" run finish as it "Closed" yesterday at 1369.55 almost +31 points higher that end of trading last week, and some +44 points up on the "Monthly" close (1325.62).

Current price: 1370.80

Yesterday saw all "markets" in the "Green" after U.S. Industrial Production m/m rose at its fastest pace in 6 months.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: Closed at 16247.22 +181.55 (+1.13%) on the day.

The S&P 500 Index: Closed at 1858.83 +17.70 (+0.96%) on the day.

Nasdaq Composite Index: Closed at 4279.95 +34.55 (+0.81%) on the day.

Gold having opened the week on 1388.52 has dropped to its current price: 1360.05 as it goes in search of its "7 in a row" "Weekly" uptrend record, needing to bypass 1388.90.

Yesterday saw all "markets" in the "Green" for the 2nd day running as fears of an escalating conflict between the West and Russia were reduced after Vladimir Putin (Russian President) said that he has no designs on annexing other territories of Ukraine apart from Crimea.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: Closed at 16336.19 +88.97 (+0.55%) on the day.

The S&P 500 Index: Closed at 1872.25 +13.42 (+0.72%) on the day.

Nasdaq Composite Index: Closed at 4333.31 +53.36 (+1.25%) on the day.

Gold closed down for only the 2nd consecutive day in a row since 19/Feb/2014 last time it made 3 daily downs 19/Dec/2013. Current price 1347.85

Yesterday saw all "markets" back in the "Red" after Yellen said the "considerable period'' between the end of its quantitative easing program, and the first rate increase from the Fed could be six months.

The Dow Jones Global Indexes: Closed at 16222.17 -114.02 (-0.70%) on the day.

The S&P 500 Index: Closed at 1860.77 -11.48 (-0.61%) on the day.

Nasdaq Composite Index: Closed at 4307.60 -25.71 (-0.59%) on the day.

Gold also took another tumble on the back of the US. FOMC Statement closing at 1330.24 sitting currently at 1327.25

As usual at 12:30 GMT the weekly data relating to the US. Unemployment Claims will be released followed by the US. Existing home sale report at 14:00 GMT.

Tomorrow (Friday) day 2 of the EU Economic Summit meeting takes place while the Canadian dollar will need to be monitored very closely as their Consumer Price Index and Retail Sales are going to be released at 12:30 GMT.

Gold closed at 1327.20 just -0.25 on its open price. Current price: 1337.38

After an up & down week Fridays close saw all "markets" back in the "Red".

This week should see the "markets" focus on the US and global economies, kicking off on Monday with a look at the health of the manufacturing sectors in both Europe and the US.

One positive note for the record breakers among us, the S&P 500 index: did race past its previous all-time high in early trading (1,883.97) as the 2,000 mark still looks a real possibility.
