Why does the scalping robot show different results?

I’m testing the Trend Impuls Bot Pro for XAUUSD, but I can’t understand why I’m getting different results with different brokers. With one broker, I got +117% in 2 weeks, while with another I got only +15%, even though it’s the same trading pair and the same H1 timeframe. What could be affecting the results?

Yeah that’s pretty normal. Different brokers have different spreads, execution, and price feeds, so even the same EA can give very different results.

Different results can happen because brokers have different spreads, price feeds, execution speed, and server times. Even small differences in XAUUSD prices or candle formation on H1 can change when the bot enters or exits trades. Slippage and commissions can also affect performance, which is why the same bot can show very different results across brokers.

Let's add slippage to the mix, but you're absolutely right—the biggest difference is in the spreads and commissions! As a rule, the difference arises when using a trading bot on a standard account.

I've been messing around with this scalping robot for a couple weeks now on my demo account, and I'm kinda confused. Sometimes it crushes it with nice quick profits, but other runs it barely breaks even or even loses on the same pairs and timeframes. I double-checked my settings, broker feeds, and even tried different VPS setups, but the results still vary a lot between tests.

Is it just the market conditions changing super fast, or does anyone else notice the bot acting inconsistent? Would love some tips from those who've used it longer. Thanks!

What could be affecting the results?

Many things. Btw where do you do your test, on MetaTrader?
If yes, when the test is complete check what percentage the quality of the data is, it should be somewhere in the top left corner. For scalping on 1 min charts, the quality of the historic data drops. Also matter what you chose as testing data: thick data, OHLC or something else. And in the end, the timezone also can be the silent killer

It can happen because spreads, slippage, execution speed, and market conditions change all the time. With scalping, even tiny differences can change the result.
