FOREX PRO Weekly November 05-09, 2012

I can hardly imagine that someone could follow Sive's advices and lose in the Forex market. He is very knowledgeable and extremely conservative.
Although I listen to him religiously every morning, but unfortunately, during the day the greed and stupidity put hand in hand and cause me open trades that are far away from what Sive has told me the same morning. :-((

Is there any person who follows Sive advices point by point?
If there is such a person, I would like to ask him sell me his signal.
I am sure among the thousands of traders who follow Sive, there are many like me.
If you are the one, please let me/us know. This could be a win win situation for everybody.
You could have an additional income beside your trades by sharing your signal. This will also cause you to stick even strickter to Sive's guidances.
Takers anyone? If for any legal reason this is against FPA's guidelines, we can form this community outside of FPA.

I coun't agree more with syncronicity. Zulu and thecollective2 are places to trade signals and honestly, there is a place for those since many understand they will simply not be able to control the emotions and impatience involved in trading. Sive doesn't give entry signals, just targets and a directional bias. Targets and a directional bias are super valuable but the problem with following Sive's advice blindly is he will move on with his life eventiually (oh no!) and then what do you have? Every time I think I don't have time to learn from sive and be patient to wait for good setups, I think about all the time I've already spent being ineffective and think, being patient and making slow consistent gains is better than being impatient and making slow consistent losses. Learn to fish. That's what Sive's posts are about, to me at least.

Hi BenOm

Your request contains the seeds of its own destruction. “during the day the greed and stupidity put hand in hand “

It would be no different if someone sent you signals, in fact it would be worse because if you have read and understood Sives analysis you at least know why you should be choosing particular entry/exit points. If you blindly follow someone else’s signal you have no idea why so would be more prone to change what was planned.

If you read back this area of the forum you will see much discussion of the real secret to trading success. It is not all about pinpoint analysis. The correct mindset and discipline are essential too. Any system with a decent win/loss ratio can be made to work if traded well enough!

I suggest that you read Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas. This will help you to eradicate all the negative behaviours and become what you seek to be – a consistently successful trader.

All the best

Michael

I am very impressed Micheal, looks like you are really making progress with the mindset required..

Hope your well and having consistent results!!!

Exactly feel the same way. Eventually Sive will be doing his own thing and move on and then what do we have?

I watch his videos every morning and attempt to learn as much as I can because I want to be able to gather my own trading thoughts and find out all the patterns on my own. I ask questions when there are certain things I do not understand because I want to get the most out of this as possible.

What I find fairly useful is I open up notepad and attempt to gather my own thoughts and write down any patterns I see and then see how much of it coincides with Sive's thoughts and if it coincides usually I have much more confidence in my trading plan.

That being said, I only recently started following Sive's analysis closely about a year ago and I regret not finding this out sooner because it seems like I lost ~2-3 years to learn from him. Hopefully he will continue this for sometime because I find this extremely valuable and I am sure others would agree also.

i try to follow sive's tips everytime too... however i am more of a "fundamental trader" rather than technical. one thing i'd like to know is: it is possible to follow your plans, sive, whithout knowing DiNapoli's method? i use mainly harmonic, fibs and breakout's (rectangles, channel's) i know nothing about the DiNapoli's method, do I must buy the book? :p

That's Fantastic!!!!!!!! news i am so so pleased for you well done!!!!!
Yes i am absolutely in great health. My trading is very boring as got to a stage where the plan just takes over if trade then i trade if not then i don't...

I have found new hobbies which are totally selfish!!! lol but keep me very occupied and happy,i am enjoying the life style and its all thanks to Felix and Sive and Mark Douglas.
The trading itself is so easy!!!! it was just sorting out ones own emotions etc conditioning to resolve these to move on.

Trading is like a Journey and once you find out where you actually want to go (resolving all your issues) It takes care of itself!!!

Enjoy your new founded mindset and values keep it up as its a daily ritual !!!and surround your self around positive people!! i had to get rid of a lot of people unfortunately who were not positive and feeding of my energy!!!

Can be a lonely exercise but as i found once the transition takes place you become attracted to new positive people..

Best wishes to you and all other friends on this Forum!!!
