How many pips you make per week?

Yeah, and in fact we are in the same country. Frankly to says, I make really on average of 150 pips per week only and of course some week I do have losses, not include of my long term hedge position. I can be a full time trader, no need stuck on those traffic jams, paying more fuel and whatsoever. I see a lot of trader fail not because of the market or strategy or whatsoever, most of them were their mindset that dreams too big which cannot be achieves consistently in trading career.

I have never bother to count in "pips" value.....How much is 150 pips in USD?

I failed because I was not even satisfied with USD3-15k profits per day ....but I have learned (I think and hope) to be satisfied with and is sticking with around daily USD200-1500 profits.

I am not trading with USD. I am trading with GBP because the broker I use is based on London. I prefer to calculate pips, but so far, I prefer to keep it secret.

Yes, it's better to use pip in trading so it will be easier to know your performance with any money management. Anyway, why do you keep secret about your target to reach weekly? I think it's no need to make it as secret because target to reach is not something which can be copied by other traders but if you don't want to share it then it's okay. My suggestion, traders should make realistic target to reach based on their money management and risk management. Different trader can be different target to risk, it's depending on his style of trading too.

Certainly each one of us have different trading skills and have different targets set forth while trading in the forex market. Thus, all traders should ensure that they are very much sure of their trading skills and try to reach their target such that excelling becomes easy and possible for all the traders which is most critical when one is trading in this highly risky forex trading field.

500-1000 pips is my target! Now I get 300-400 pips on hotforex, and pips does verify the ability of traders than account balance, more than 500 pips should be very good.

I am always surprised when people make tall claims about making 100s of pips per week. Forex markets are designed to wear out stop losses and drag traders to losses when are they are not using stop losses.

Yeah, it is already my limit even with 150 pips, but sometime even have to suffer minor losses. As long as risk is well controlled, even 250 pips per month makes good money. 500-1000, maybe yes for some people, or maybe they don't even know what they are actually doing.

Yeah, I prefer to keep it classified 1st. Anyway, I prefer to calculate on pips, so I can asses easily on performance.
