i am very new to all this and it starts to get very interesting as i am reading all day trying to understand what is going on:)

i am very happy i found this place searcing information about forex

i have downloaded an mt4 platform(is it good one??)and practising with virtual money

there are 2 topics i havent cleared yet...

1)regarding trading news:if the broker freeze an order before news does this order must be a pending one?what if i buy and sell manually at those moments?

2)for example my account looks like this now (i bought 0.1 lot with 1:100 leverage)

equity 2974$ margin 128$ free margin 2846$

if i start to loose when i get a margin call?

1. What do you mean by "freezing an order"? If you mean the execution of an order, "freezing"= non-execution can happen during news times or any period with rapid price changes (or if the broker is a crook). It does not matter if the order is a pending one or a market order.

2. In your example you could lose up to the amount of the free margin. Margin call would occur when only 128 $ are left.
