How do I file a Traders Court case at the FPA?

UPDATED for New Traders Court - November 2018:

Case filing is easier now. You may have even done it without knowing.

The Forex Peace Army has some specific rules about filing Traders Court cases…

Before filing, you MUST have taken the FIRST STEPS for Traders wanting to Open a case.

The incident must have happened in the last 9 months and your Scam Alerts thread must be less than 6 months old. As issues get older, it becomes harder to get reliable evidence. If your issue is too old, you can still open a thread in Scam Alerts to complain, but it won't be able to be fully escalated the same way as a thread on a newer issue.

You must present some evidence in your Scam Alerts thread to verify that you really had an account or purchased a product from the company. Otherwise, the company could later claim you never were a customer. Ignoring a request from an FPA member or a company representative for a piece of evidence more than once will result in your Scam Alerts thread being marked as Unsupported and being moved to the Resolved Issues folder. Once a thread is moved for being unsupported, any new threads from the same person about the same issue will be deleted or appended to the old thread.

Before inviting the company or asking the FPA to escalate the issue, there is one other thing you MUST remember. If you don't reply to questions in either your case thread or Scam Alerts thread for over a week, your complaint may be marked as Unsupported or Abandoned and be moved to the Resolved Issues folder. Once a thread is moved for being abandoned, any new threads from the same person about the same issue will be deleted or appended to the old thread.

There now is NO separate case thread to be created. Your Traders Court thread is your case thread. It will have an option to directly invite the company from your thread. This removes all doubt about whether or not the company has been invited.
