It's good that you had the discipline to go back to demo, many people don't do this and end up regretting it

Even after demo practice we explore new things new problems and mistakes while trading on live accounts. It shows the difference between two accounts. Next time when you test anything on demo you are much concerned how it will be treated on real trading. I think there is no shame to go back on demo for further learning.
