Optimarkets binary option company is SCAM, "Be careful US traders"

I've reviewed the posts on this thread... A few comments:
1. Limor is a hebrew name, the fact that she wished everybody a good weekend on the 8.08.2013 (Thursday) should is also proof that she works in Israel.2
2. Limor is a female name (which I hinted by referring to her as she ;)....)
3. Very interesting to find out that OptiMarkets & XPMarkets are related.... Either that or they are outsourcing their PR services to the same company.
4. As mentioned by others, US clients have the advantage that their complaints are taken more seriously by the brokers (who fear being arrested by the FBI the day they step foot into the USA) and the authorities. So move forward with this ASAP.
5. Open an official case with the Forex Peace Army, the worst thing that can happen to them is negative PR. They fear this much more than a few thousand dollars.
6. Complain via as many online forums as possible.

Thanks dvmania, Im doing that, im searching every forum and leaving bad comments, my friends are helping me too, so let see what happen

Hello to all.

I have been using optimarkets.com to and realy i loved that site, i dint have much to start with because i haved tryed many different web site. But optimarkets.com nice site just what i was looking for.

I invested 700 us and took the bonus, i have been trading for more than 25000 us thats alot of trades when using my system 5 dollar 60 second trades.

Then i brok my leg here in thailand i had a case with the danish government and i need money, Thailand is cheap but not hospital and nursing.

I have plans dreams like anyone and in my life this binary option trading, its interesting and enough for me to finaly make that extra that can make my situation just a little better.

My account today is 5300 us, but i havent seen a penny. I have been getting mails that tell me that soon will you recive your money. i still hope that i will see some money, but then again i would have loved to still trade on that site but its like they dont care.

I got very angry in the start cause i think it is so unfair, but still today if they would pay me as they have promissed me, i would give them a second chance but only if i get my money.

Hi!! This site is definitely a scam, they are very friendly at the beginning but when you start requesting your funds, they disappear and stop any communication with you. We are now 4 victims of this scam and I'm sure there are more people ripped off.

I really wish there would be like a watchdog group for all internet registered businesses! Internet police so to speak. So if there are problems with a particular companies, that company gets shutdown/offline right away! Of-course with enough complaints and proof of wrong doing! Because besides us having problems getting our money back, unsuspecting victims are depositing cash as I write this, and at the end they will probably visit FPA, and ask them self why haven't I visited this site before depositing as I was! I was rushed in to binary options without doing any research, with the dream of making it big! My adrenaline for easy cash overturned all sane and reasonable actions! I'm sure there are others like me! Just a thought I had what if!

HI!!!
In my case I did research about Optimarkets but all were paid advertisements and since it was a new Company, all their reviews were ok, so you never know what is going to happen now a days with all these internet based brokers and platforms

This is where the age of the company and those so-called endorsements comes into play. A really smart company with no clients could probably slip a few fake positive reviews past AsstModerator's review moderators, but there's nothing a company can do to prevent real clients from posting real reviews once the company becomes active.

If some broker looks tempting, check their reviews, play with a demo account, and bug sales and tech support with questions while continuing to dig. After several months, check the reviews again and see if anything new has popped up.

Dear Pharaoh!!

You are right but in my case I went to a lot of web sites and to a lot of forums and all the reviews were positive after almost 2 years of the Company been in service. I could not play with a demo account because most of the Binary Options Platforms do not have one. I even came to this site and there was nothing bad about Optimarkets. Now I realized that all those sites that were advertising it as one of the best Binary based platforms do not allow you to post reviews at all. I discovered that now that I was scammed by them and I tried to alert people about this and most of them are blocked and do not allow anybody to comment. That is why you cant find anything negative. I'm so glad I started this thread for sure here at FPA.

UPDATE 8/31/13

Credit card company issued a refund and claims Optimarkets has 14 days to dispute. He also stated it is very common for these websites to ignore the dispute as they know they will lose anyway. Thank God I used a credit Card and not a wire tranfer.

I'm glad for you Chuckt, I also used CC and I'm still waiting for the dispute with the CC company, I hope they would be able to charge back the money.
