Fxcm big time scam!

If your complaint's with FXCM is with the MT4 station then look again, this is an issue with MT4. Many brokers who use mt4 show gaping at news times even freezing etc. These issues are there just not being addressed

That's something to consider, Stevesmain

One thing that stood out to me about the screenshots posted in this thread is that there are at least 15 charts open. That alone might not be a big deal, but how many EAs and indicators are running on them? And how complex are the calculations for those EAs and indicators? Multiply those calculations across 15+ charts during a news event when prices update even more frequently than during normal conditions and that alone could possibly explain the issues described.

In General terms, many EA's and indicators might affect mt4 running stability. But, must take into consideration what internet connection speed the client has?
If it's 3G or 4 G then it's on the very high level that must not affect to that extent of "always no connection" on his FXCM mt4 in certain times, regardless of the platform "internal flaws" if I want to believe that!!!! which is a total myth since many brokers use the mt4, clients may open it on several brokers and realize some brokers have cuts, errors in prices while others have its mt4 working smoothly.

Also, if that's only happening on news releases, in this case the problem must be from FXCM side.

Will like to know from the client if he lost money due to this consistent disconnection or he is just spotlighting on it to warn others??

That case was filed in February of 2011 and was dismissed in November of the same year.

Yo Lucifer - it does work better if you focus solely on your own issues without bringing up the issues of others. When you do, sometimes you find that the others have led you down the wrong path.

That thing about the number of charts could be valid. If you need those charts (I know I do), install a second copy of MT4 just for news trading and only one the most stripped down version of the charts needed just for the news trade. It certainly can't hurt to try.

Hi Eddiger
I will not chicken out. I will keep posting my experiences and will keep making money but not add any more of my investment and I dont trade with just one broker so I know some good ones and thats where all my investment will go in the future even the withdrawals from FXCM :)

So I guess you should post your case and let Jason/FXCM handle it.

Making a post about a dismissed lawsuit is not helping you.

There is hardly 4 or 5 indicators and no EA. People I know running more and same indicators and EA's on upto 70 charts and no jams.

Im just stating my opinions so some of the beginners who read this do not go through the same process I went through and lose their money. And whoever is reading this...Try FXCm and another broker regulated by ASIC. You will be amazed to discover how FXCM scams you for profits. Im soon going to open an account with FXCM australia just to see if they are practicing the same tactics there. ASIC(Australian Commission of Investment and Securities) will ruin you on genuine complaints.

I dont make a case with puppets. Sorry Jason I know you work for FXCM so please dont take anything personally. My comments are directed towards FXCM.

Hey Pharaoh
I dont trade news cos my strategy helps me avoid news completely. Also those charts are nothing what I have open on other MT4. I only trade on one MT4 at a time so its not that I have 2 MT4 or more open at the same time. I can relate to the allegations for they are still in practice and thats the only reason I think its a modern age theft just not recognized yet.

I have a couple of mt4 trade stations open on two different systems with two different isp's, no ea's etc. on the go & rarely, I do mean rarely, do I find the mt4's keep up at news times! I do not consider it to be broker issue but an mt4 issue as the prices go through there system. Oh I also have a couple of none mt4 stations to compare with also & they have no problem.

It used to be a concern about plug in's with mt4. Now it appears to be price feeding or rather the slowness of keeping pace. Now there's an idea perhaps there is a delay plug in that kicks in at news times or when it is turned on?
