Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Problem Possible scammer? Tinder and Forex

I am having an issue with a company
Shanghai, Beijing and hongkong is what the world sees. Everything else remains in the dark. It's a massive country and stories of slave labour may still be common in remote regions. It wouldn't be hard to believe that the perpetrators of such things are forced to do all this. Yes charity work is cited by some of them. But in the end it all comes down to *invest and make money with the filthy rat*.
All they need is a desperate soul with a pinch of greed.
Lotteries , crypto , and quite literally anything that is supposedly saleable ! They will try anything.
I suspect there killed if they can't steal enough.
These scripts posted is the only real evidence for now. Let's hope in sometime the whole plot comes about.
There are published articles about some of these scams being ran out of Laos. Chinese citizens in Laos own real businesses and trick Mainland residents into thinking they will be paid to go to Laos to work at a hotel, resort, factory, etc. When the citizens arrive in Laos, their passports are taken away and they are instead taken to a compound where they are forced to run these scams. Once they have convinced enough victims to invest, and the scammers stole a certain amount of money from victims, the Mainland citizen is then given their passport back and put on a plane back to Mainland. The golden triangle is a dangerous place and some of the scammers have setup scam shops in that area.

Sounds just like the movie Lucy. Not hard to imagine in a country like Laos.

The other liable party in all of this is Meta Quotes (MQ), the company that makes and licenses Meta Trader. MQ takes zero action to stop fraudulent activity and does nothing to help victims when you try to contact them about a scam that occurred using MetaTrader. Imagine if MQ actually setup a way for victims to report fraudulent brokers and MQ actually did their own investigation and helped to capture and shut down these brokers. Unfortunately, MQ makes hundreds of millions of dollars a year from white label license holders therefore they have no interest to help stop any of this activity.

Look at page 5 and 6 of the thread below. A victim tried to ask MQ for help on a live MQ forum and even cited some of MQ's terms and conditions only to have their post removed and a threat of being blocked from the forum.

First of all sorry for what happened to you, if you seen a lot of stories here a lot of people lost much more compare to what you have put down and it's a blessing that you have put in some in depth research and found this site. We would never understand what's behind scammers brain, which they would use emotion to cheat on hard earned money from the victims.

Also, regular investors gain and lose a lot of money, that's very normal but then the amount they tell you is just outrageous and unbelievable. If he has that much money why would he look for long distance love like that. They are patient and their work is evolving constantly.

More info about this scam, you can find here:
Thank you for your sharing. Please give me some advice what should I do because I submitted my personal information when creating the account. My account is negative $480 on MT4. How to stop the consequences later.

I did a lot of research, so after a while, I trusted him. His profile has been verified on the dating site: i.e. the verified face on the camera and the profile picture must exactly match. And I tried showing my son's face and it was immediately reported as inappropriate. Then I took a picture of my face and it was verified. I also asked customer care on TanTan: What if users don't use their own pictures? Tantan replied: first they will remind the member to take one more photo of their face. If it is found that it is not real and matches, they will immediately take action to delete that record. Then that 45 year old man is exactly the one who is cheating on me, not someone else right????

this is what he sent me when we chatted...
The books he reads that are displayed at home and at work are the same...

It’s hard to believe that someone like that will turn out to be fake. If you read and write chinese, I suggest you to report this case to Chinese authorities since you have quite enough evidence and they might know how to work on that. Scammers rarely shows their faces on the video but looks like this guy has gathered a lot of videos to make you believe him.
Now, what kind of private info you were leaked? You can always report it to the police to the country you reside. I’m sure they all have guidelines when you have become a victim of a fraud.
At this point, it’s hard to believe that it has happened because you might think how can someone put so much times and make this believable but the truth is this is part of their jobs. They are getting paid on stealing money from innocent people, so I hope your head is clear. Move on and report them, spread this issues so that more people are aware that scams like this is popping up on everywhere.

Thanks for repling. I mean the camera captures the current face directly and has to match the app's circular rotation. That's why I have trusted he's real.

Hello. I want to remove the uploaded image of the man's face here. How to delete it. I don't want innocent people to be affected by the criminal image
