Comrades,
I have some updates for you...
First, here is a nice article from ForexMagnates regarding the cases: forexmagnates.com/ironfx-faces-cyprus-court-complaints-160-chinese-clients-ibs-2
Second... Regarding the Chinese IBs (A bit of off-topic, I know...):
IGHG is registered in Shanghai under the address of (surprise), IronFX Shanghai office. (Screenshot if they decide to change the address on their website –

Then, according to the information freely available to public from the Shanghai’s Company Registrar, the company belongs to a company called Terra Management Ltd, registered in Hong Kong. The directors of the company IGHG are Mr. Petros Economides (Shareholder of IronFX) and Mr. Markos Kashiouris, (CEO and shareholder of IronFX). The Supervisor of the company is Mr. Demetris Kyriacou, and the General Manager is Mr. You Yong.

Now, as they claim that IGHG is their IB, let’s take a step back and look at who actually owns IGHG: it is Terra Management. But who is behind Terra Management? None other but the two gentlemen mentioned previously: Mr. Petros Economides and Mr. Markos Kashiouris. All information is available publicly online. Those who search will find.

So it seams that their setup was working perfectly: cash was pouring directly right into the pockets of those two gentlemen, avoiding any sort of problems or controls. The clients were paying for those expensive statements such as FC Barca, the Lambos and all of their offices and staff. I wonder if the clients’ money accounts were really segregated… Or just fully segregated between Economides and Kashiouris, depending on their stakes at IronFX.
After those little fiascos, I am starting to wonder, how on earth are their clients still patiently waiting for their cash back, and where do the regulators look. I mean there has to be at least some action, and not just “We are investigating.”
And last but not least (my favourite), one of the papers from the court stating that they have accepted the case against IronFX:
