need help downloading software

hi, i'm trying to install a custom indicator to my MT4 platform i think i did everything correct but it's still not working, i got the application to show up on my screen but there is no currency signals or alerts. any help would be appreciated.

Find the folder your MT4 is installed in. Open the Experts Folder. The open the Indicators folder. Drop it in there. Restart your copy of MT4.

May be there is an issue from broker's end or custom indicator crashed.
