This morning all of a sudden OctaFX starting with their slippage issues on my account.

I would accept this as normal but then started doing some investigation EVERY trade today had slippage of 2 Pips or more.
My friend also have an OctaFX account both our accounts run off a VPS server in Germany to get the best latency possible.

He had 0 slippage on the exact same trades I had, last trade closed with a 5.5 Pip slippage in OctaFX's favour, I had a trailing stop whcih was at 1.08605 and the trade closed at 1.08550.

This broker is a SCAMMER out and out. See the trades below.

All of them slippage with 2 Pips or more !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have screenshots and journal prints for all of this to prove the scam this broker is pulling. Now tell me something why is there slippage on my account but nothing on my friends account ?

If more proof is required I will more than happy to provide this, I have lost thousands of $ so I do not profess to be a great trader but still being scammed like this is really not what we are looking for. I have set up an EA now after months and years of testing and at last it is actually starting to make profit, I chose OctaFX as the reviews all seemed favourable and it went well for a couple of months now all of a sudden SLIPPAGE !!!!!

Let's start by inviting Octafx to join this thread.

From what I seen so far, this broker has a very harsh trading and compliance settings.

No doubts bro me too had to fight out to get my money as within few hours of my EA scalping 150 usd profit they disabled my account for trading and sent mail account under investigation etc. Read my scams alert folder. They are not regulated anywhere so beware

Quite frankly guys, apart from highlighting your issues with this exotic nation "regulated" broker here at our FPA & other sites/forum and hoping they will not want the bad publicity and potential loss of clients, there really is not much else you can do.

As the post above suggested, send them an invitation to defend their company and, perhaps, to write in to their regulator to see whether they will look into your complaints.

I have invited OctaFX to this thread lets see what their response will be, I have all the evidence needed to prove that they are Manipulating the trades.
 
I have also contacted IFSA of St.Vincent and requested additional information as to have OctaFX investigated, this simply can not go on.

Brokers have had a free reign of people and stealing their money in the most unscrupulous ways, I am willing to take this all the way.

Their simple excuses and always referring to the Customer Agreement is an absolute slap in the face of anybody when there is definate proof of what they are doing to customer accounts.

At no stage have I used ANY Expert Advisor or "Trick" to manipulate their platform like Arbitrage and crap like that but they go ahead manipulate my trades, double standards much ?
 
amidst all this, i cant understand why you would want to park your funds and trade with a non-regulated broker. Not that the regulation authorities are going to help you much if you get scammed but atleast the broker would be worried about losing his license when too many complaints pour in. With non-regulated ones, even that safeguard isnt there.

Let’s take a look at the trade log in your first message:
Here we have a Buy Stop order #41142634 with an entry price set at 1.09069 with stop loss set at 1.09064
If we refer to the pending order execution rules, we’ll see that a Buy Stop order is executed whenever current Ask price becomes higher or equal to the order entry price.
Your order #41142634 was opened at 1.09097 as per your own instruction according to pending orders execution rules. Later this order was closed at 1.09064 as per your stop loss.
As you can see there’s nothing wrong with this order. Besides, no slippage on this one.
If you want me to check any other order in particular, please let me know. As for the possible slippage, we state directly at our website, that we cannot guarantee that ANY order will be executed at the requested price. At any moment of time the market is so much more than simply one price that you see in MT4, that it is just not possible. I believe that brokers with instant execution, fixed spreads, 4-digit pricing, etc. still exist, if that is what you are looking for.
It’s interesting that you mention arbitrage and platform manipulation, we never said that you did any.

Sure the only reason I did mention Arbitrage is because of all the other traders here on FPA that complained of slippage on OctaFX YOUR representatives said they were using these exploits.

Why do you not go through all of the orders below : ALL OF THEM HAVE THE OCTAFX "SLIPPAGE" and don't give me the Agreement and Terms of Service crap, it is simply not possible for EVERY order to exeperience this kind of "Slippage" which I like to call BROKER INDUCED SLIPPAGE.

I even have some screenshots if you want of manual orders I placed which ALSO opened EVERY order 2+ Pips away from the Market Price, they are in this list below as well. Go ahead and explain that to me, not only did the OPEN order have this discrepancy but the CLOSE did as well with even one with 5+ PIPS !!! This begs the question if I did not monitor the trades that morning who is to say that ALL my other trades were not tampered with ??

You are going to have fun with these guys!

Whenever they have had to account for there actions in the past they turtle, crawl back into there shell & hide.

This action on Octa's part is nothing new...they cry market slippage and turtle.

Alas they assume all are ignorant on how the market works...need to educate us...then turtle!
During active market times such as at NFP news release ... sure one can expect erratic slippage...other times when the market is less volatile one should receive prices very close to the market!
Time & date of trades are not listed, if they are at or near news releases your case will be weak. Whether or not your friend traded at the same time will not help your case as latency of the net can be used as an excuse. That & the market is a first come first served arena.

The fact that there far too many cases of Octa changing the playing filed when a trader makes profit or uses an EA...something is triggering a warning to them....! There are many occurrences in this forum!

Octa has some home work ahead to save their well deserved poor reputation in this area! Dissect all these trades & compare with David's friend's trades plus cross reference with any other trades by their clients at the same time. Publish the results so they can be confirmed by those on the outside!

Regulation while it sounds good is little more than a band aid solution. Any company can have people that do troubling things. It is how they deal with issues that arise. Octa turtle's...plain and simple!
