Educate yourself first. And don't pay anyone else to do it for you, all the info is already out there for free, you just need to take the time to study it. Also open a demo account to get the feel for actual trading aspect and to apply what you're learning. I'd suggest a U.S. NFA registered broker since you live in the U.S. It's the safest bet you can make when choosing a broker. Lastly, know that this is not going to be easy or a fast track to big bucks. Don't get sucked in by the flashy adds and fake promises (remember what I just said about not paying for anything cause it's already free) just know that it's a big complicated ocean that you are stepping into and it's full of sharks.
On a lighter note, welcome to forex! Good luck!
