I heard about another scam under the guise of "cryptocurrency investing".
This site has caught out a friend of a friend who unfortunately didn't see the warning signs ...

    https://coinexx.org/

Could someone who understands scam websites have a quick look at the whois & spot anything obvious that says 'scam' >
    http://whois.domaintools.com/coinexx.org

Has anybody heard of this scam (google has no obvious hits for 'coinexx')
To best explain the scam, I will quote their public FB post:

Just an update to my previous post
Here is a snip of an instant message conversation with a representative from CoinExx.org, where they reveal the company is a scam and don't try & get your money back...

    https://ibb.co/XjXpbWc

I just hope no-one else has been scammed by CoinExx.org

NB: This company has nothing to do with CoinExx.com, which seems to be a legitimate company.
Obviously CoinExx.org is trying to gain a sense of legitimacy from the CoinExx.com domain.

First of all, invite the company by using the invite company option to your thread. And if you are unable to locate the option then this thread "Tutorial: How to Invite a company to your thread." will help you to find out.

Note: If you are new to FPA then invitation button will be enabled when your first post reaches 4 days old.

Thanks FxMaster, it seems that link is gone!
    I'm guessing coinexx.org deleted it.
They probably did so knowing the game is up, and will bury the website & start a new one.

I just checked and their website is still up -

FPA Review Moderation Team Note: After some confusion, the site is now listed here...

Will do. I am new so I must wait 4 days until I can invite the company.
I suspect they will ignore me, or close their domain > coinexx.org

Things have developed quickly & Coinexx.org has been suspended by their web-host tonight (Whogohost).

    https://ibb.co/0X840TB

Note the last line re: web host
Web Hosting in Nigeria, .ng domain registration and other domain name registrations in Nigeria

As I detected earlier, this scam is likely the handy work of the notorious Nigerian scammers.

No doubt a new site / sites will spring up to dupe the next lot of hopeful 'investors' ...

This is why I always suggest to get the proper details about broker before you go with your hard working money.
