The UN is fully aware of the human trafficking but this is occurring in Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. The scam compounds use human trafficking to obtain some of the scammers who are forced to commit the fraud. Given these are all lawless countries and they work closer with China than the US, Garland has little control to stop Human Trafficking there. Chinese scammers human traffick many Mainland Chinese therefore Xi should be doing more to stop this activity (Scam bossss are Chinese and people human trafficked are also Chinese). The PRC actually gets a cut from many of these scam bosses so they turn a blind eye. China could stop all of the Pig Butchering but they have financial incentives from scam bosses to not do anything. Also Garland is politically corrupt so unless the Left asks him to do something he won't.
