Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Problem Alpari UK - another possible scam

I am having an issue with a company
A lot of AlpariUK's clients were so happy that they moved to the UK to be closer to their broker. ;)

All these 98% of 5-stars reviewers claimed that trading with Alpari-UK's platform, system etc are so great and perfect, so to speak.

If so, then this particular group of UK traders must have been making tons of money within that short 5 months period :)

If that's truly the case, I urge every trader the world over to open accounts with Alpari-UK if you have not done so.
Let's all join their 98% UK 5-stars reviewers (in 5 months) and enjoy a real wonderful and excellent trading environment!

But wouldn't this lead to Alpari-UK going belly up? This also defies the established norm that only <5% traders could win. Search me.

Alexander, kindly advice.

VDP in ACTION!

this is really a very interesting and eye-opening video on MT4 Administrator, Manager Virtual Dealer and Virtual Dealer Plugin (VDP) in REAL ACTION posted by a guy called ECNJEsus. I have just uploaded this video again which included a few call-up images to facilitate focus on where to watch for the action. :)

While brokers can use the MT4 Administrator, Manager Virtual Dealer and VDP, some may program on their own to achieve the same intentions. So, do you think only small bucket shops can afford to do this? Do you think large regulated brokers by default would never use these tricks?

Watch how easy it is for brokers to do the following to rip us traders:

1. From 0:00-1.15: Using MT4 Administrator to change our trade history in order to fix any mess after Stop Hunting - High, Low, Open, Close, Volume (watch how the candles changed after refreshing between screen time 1:05 - 1:11)

2. From 1:16-2:15: Using Manager Dealing Desk to Accept, Reject your orders or Create Slippages and to Fill your Orders ony when the broker thinks the price is right to their advantage.

3. From 2:16-3:26: Using MT4 Manager to Inject Prices and Stop Hunt your trades with a simple click! They'll then blame it on Bad Liquidity

4. From 3:27-4:38: Using MT4 Manager to Modify Orders/Prices - You'll then get to see a small pop-up window with this message "Do you really want to change Open Price, Stop Loss, Take Profit

5. From 4:39-end: VDP in ACTION! Watch how slippages is so easily set!

So, the next time you see any of these scenarios occurring on your trading platform you should be dead sure of what's really taking place at your broker's end, despite their denial. As for me, all that had occurred to my trades with Alpari UK a year ago are now becoming even more obvious. This would serve as another new piece of evidence for me to use. :)

I think before I next open any new account with any broker, I'd be asking them to declare not only that they won't be using the VDP or equivalent, but also MT4 Administrator, MT4 Manager and their equivalent, or any algorithms programmed themselves to achive the same.

Thanks a million to ECNJEsus!

...hmmm...it's that simple to modify account on MT4 platform!......I wonder how many brokers do that to their client's account :(

I wonder how many brokers won't be tempted at all to do these to make easy money:)

Brokers use fake 5-stars reviews and ever-increasing new account sign-up and deposit bonuses to lure traders. Let's be alert on what they have next up their sleeves after the attractive bonus offers die out.

If brokers could honestly run their show strictly based on each others skills (i.e. theirs and traders' skills) then many would certainly lose out and go belly up. I believe most veteran traders understand this and won't mind brokers playing a little trick to give themselves a little more advantage over us traders. However, unfortunately, most are overly evil and ruthless! Even long-term traders setting a high SL on their trades could be hunted down so easily if a broker wants to get you. So, looks like a better chance of making and keep your profits is to trade small and in longer term trades. :)

Download copies of that video quickly. They have a habit of disappearing when MetaQuotes complains to YouTube.
