I already knew they were not registered and that is AGAINST THE LAW. I cant believe they sent such a lame answer. Did nt you say in your complaint that they obviously offered financial services and they are NOT registered ?
Just phone that Kristy Watson and tell her. They are supposed to DO SOMETHING about it. It is exactly because they did not register that you cannot get your money from any compensation scheme but they are supposed to get PUNISHED for not registering. Just ask them what they intend to do now to force that company to comply.
I already knew that New Zealand is a real joke with those " financial services providers " but this is too much if they do nothing.

Dont worry about exemptions under section 7. Make it clear in your complaint that they 1) accepted money deposits 2) acted as brokers for spot forex contracts 3) provided other financial services like promising safekeeping of your funds, methods of withdrawals etc.

As you say, they probably bought a pair of running shoes to run faster with your money. Let s hope NZ does something quick. Note that their actual operations are not located in New Zealand. What the FSPR will be able to reach is maybe only a "compliance agent" there. That s why I consider NZ as not safe for forex with those FSP that pretend to be there but have only one person in NZ responsible for filing some paperwork with the NZ Govt.

Hi Sylvie, me and my husband are in the same situation. We both have accounts with Intelfx and I put in a withdrawl request on June 3, and my husband on June 16. Neither request has been processed and online support tells me to be patient. I would certainly appreciate any assistance and information and will gladly recipricate.

Just an update. I have contacted Intelfx successfully.
And I am happy to report that I have managed to withdraw USD10900 (capital + profit made before their system down) successfully.
And I have also learnt from them that their system is under attack and went under for about a week. Their system is now up already.
Their service really need to improve though.
