IntelFx WITHDRAWAL PROBLEM

I already knew they were not registered and that is AGAINST THE LAW. I cant believe they sent such a lame answer. Did nt you say in your complaint that they obviously offered financial services and they are NOT registered ?

Just phone that Kristy Watson and tell her. They are supposed to DO SOMETHING about it. It is exactly because they did not register that you cannot get your money from any compensation scheme but they are supposed to get PUNISHED for not registering. Just ask them what they intend to do now to force that company to comply.

I already knew that New Zealand is a real joke with those " financial services providers " but this is too much if they do nothing.
Yesterday, I sent an e-mail to Kristy Watson and she replied:

Hi Sylvie,

Our compliance team will following up with any service provider that is not registered and should be.
Please fill out our online form here, so that we have all the information we need from you to look into this.

Entities and individuals who:

live or have a place of business in New Zealand; and
are in the business of providing financial services (in New Zealand or overseas) must register on the FSPR to provide that particular financial service, if you are providing a financial service as defined in section 5 of the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008, and you are "in the business of providing a financial service".
There are also some exemptions to this in section 7 of the Act.

Kind regards

I will resend my complaint...

It seems that IntelFx is running away with our money.

Mousekingkong wrote to me :

Hi,
I have deposited usd10,000 into this company. But since 12/6/2011, the company has became unreachable! And the MT4 account has became invalid!!

I have tried to phone to their HQ in New Zealand and...

Hi Mousekingkong,

I can't quote your post due to some problem.
Send a complaint to: kristy.watson@med.govt.nz. She will tell you what to do.

I resent my complaint and waiting for their reply.

Dont worry about exemptions under section 7. Make it clear in your complaint that they 1) accepted money deposits 2) acted as brokers for spot forex contracts 3) provided other financial services like promising safekeeping of your funds, methods of withdrawals etc.

Kristy Watson will know they are not exempt

As you say, they probably bought a pair of running shoes to run faster with your money. Let s hope NZ does something quick. Note that their actual operations are not located in New Zealand. What the FSPR will be able to reach is maybe only a "compliance agent" there. That s why I consider NZ as not safe for forex with those FSP that pretend to be there but have only one person in NZ responsible for filing some paperwork with the NZ Govt.

When it will be clear that you were the victim of a fraud, it will be time to visit the Serious Fraud Office of NZ at www.sfo.govt.nz

Hi MichelAnge21,

I will never again put my money into a NZ broker even if it is registered and regulated. I'm sure IntelFx are closing thier website (pixel by pixel) I didn't lose that much money , but mousekingkong said he (or she) lost $10,000 USD. For me it's clear that I'm a victim of a fraud and I'm about to visit the SFO of NZ.

Thanks for your help

Same situation

Hi Sylvie, me and my husband are in the same situation. We both have accounts with Intelfx and I put in a withdrawl request on June 3, and my husband on June 16. Neither request has been processed and online support tells me to be patient. I would certainly appreciate any assistance and information and will gladly recipricate.

You can try to mak a complaint to Financial Service Providers Register of New Zealand or send an e-mail to kristy.watson@med.govt.nz.

Few days ago I filed a case. You can see it at:

http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-forum/court-case-preparation-folder/15732-case-2011-051-sylvie-o-vs-https-www-intelfx-com.html

Moderation note: Items in the Case Preparation Folder are only accessible to a small number of FPA members. When they are moved to the Open Cases folder, they are publicly accessible.

I have attached many documents (screenshots).

That will give you an idea on how to proceed...

Hi Laurie,

I filed a case few days ago. I made a complaint here and there against IntelFx but I'm still waiting for my money. I hope FPA will help me to get my money.

Intelfx withdrawal successful -- finally!

Hi,

Just an update. I have contacted Intelfx successfully.

And I am happy to report that I have managed to withdraw USD10900 (capital + profit made before their system down) successfully.

And I have also learnt from them that their system is under attack and went under for about a week. Their system is now up already.

Their service really need to improve though.
